Why this is the hard part
An embedded feature arrives with a product update, not a purchase order. Nobody files a ticket, no new domain appears in your logs, and the default is often on. By the time anyone asks, staff have been feeding it customer data for months.
It also moves your compliance boundary quietly: if the assistant in your wiki routes prompts to a third-party model provider, that provider is your sub-processor — which changes your DPA and your transfer basis, whether or not anyone updated the paperwork.
